Ferry Point Residence
Annapolis, Maryland
South Fork Studio was hired to completely redesign the driveway main entrance, and pool area for this Annapolis waterfront home. There were front door circulation problems and the large stucco wall separating driveway from pool area blocked the view of the water from the driveway.
Through a process of computer modeling, South Fork Studio determined the wall height that would be tall enough to provide privacy for the pool and meet local building code; but low enough to see over and provide views of the water beyond the pool.
South Fork Studio redesigned the existing pool house and changed the architectural style with a new roof line and classical decorative columns. The column design was carried over to the garage, where flowering vines and a stone water table create the look of a cottage garden.
